32nd Graduation and Prize Giving Ceremony
On Friday 5th December 2025, our school community gathered at 5:00 p.m. on the Basketball Grounds to celebrate the 32nd Graduation and Prize Giving Ceremony. It was a joyful and memorable evening dedicated to honouring achievement, hard work and school spirit.
The program opened with a beautiful march past by the Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brownies and Guides, setting a proud and festive tone for the ceremony.
Prayers were then delivered by Alhaj Ali Harissy in Arabic and Patrick Kamara in English. Both the Sierra Leone and Lebanon national anthems were sung, reminding us of the unity and diversity within our school.
Sophia Salhab gave the welcome address and introduced the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr. Samih Hashim . In his opening remarks, the Chairman congratulated all graduands and highlighted the major developments the school achieved during the year under review.
The Head of Secondary, Mr. Moj Massood, encouraged parents to continue supporting the school by ensuring that students stay focused on their studies. This was followed by a succinct and insightful report on the school’s academic standing delivered by the Director of Studies, Mr. A. Jongopie.
Certificates were then presented to all graduands by the Chairman Mr. Samih Hashim and Mr. Faisal Basma Chairman of the Academic Committee, and proficiency prizes were awarded by, Mr. Emad Khoury Chairman of the Social and Sports Committee, and Mr. Ali Basma member of the Finance Committee.
A major highlight of the evening was the announcement of our highest achievers in the June 2025 Cambridge examinations.
The Principal, Mr. Ali Ahmad, proudly recognized the following students, each awarded a 50% scholarship for the academic year 2025-2026
1. Sofia Salhab: 3 A*’s, 2 A’s and 2 B’s
2. Shada Tahini: 3 A*’s, 2 A’s, 1 B and 1 C
3. Solange Dukuray-Jalloh: 1 A*, 5 A’s and 1 C
Their outstanding performance was warmly applauded by the entire gathering.
The NPSE graduating class also received a well-deserved standing ovation for their achievement.
The vote of thanks was delivered in Arabic by Assil Antar and in English by Solange Dukuray-Jalloh, closing the ceremony with gratitude and appreciation.
The program ended with refreshments and photography, capturing smiles, joy and the pride of another successful academic year.
Congratulations to all our graduands and award recipients. We wish them every success in their next chapter.
